You grow up. You get educated or trained on something. You get a job. You find a partner. You get married. You have kids. You buy a house. You work work work. You maybe get retired. You die.

There are so many things that can go wrong with the above list, yet this is the "must-do-list" that our society encourages us to follow. Do we even know who created this list in the first place and, as times go by and people's needs and lifestyles are constantly changing, do we know if this list still applies?

Have you ever felt the social pressure haunting you, because you choose not to tick some of this "must-do-list's" boxes? Have you ever felt anxious or depressed for being single and not having a partner? Have you felt "less" for not having yet the job of your dreams? Did you ever doubted yourself and felt as if there was something wrong with you, because you didn't choose to do things the way you "should"?

This blog post today is a reminder that you are the creator of your own reality and that it is important, that as you navigate through life, you choose to create it consciously. Get in touch with your inner truth, your intuition, your personal values and desires and make decisions based on what MATTERS TO YOU. What works for others might not work at all for you, so it's your job to figure out how you want to experience YOUR OWN LIFE.

If you find that you are always concerned with what other people might think of you and their voices and judgements hold you back from living your life the way you want, then take some time off to question those voices.

If you are used to put other people's perspectives above yours, in order to be able to listen to your own voice again, you'll need to find all the related wounds inside you and heal them. During this process, it's crucial that you honor your boundaries and that you surround yourself with the most loving and supportive relationships. Also, remember that taking full accountability of your own actions will help you feel empowered and that you are the only one that controls your life. This way you'll be gradually able to trust and to connect with your true self'll be able to hear your own inner voice and to see YOUR OWN VISION clearly. A vision based on what YOU want and not based on someone else's preferences, needs or unresolved traumas.
